Working Feedback is excited to be supporting Dentaid The Dental Charity as they embark on an extensive number of clinics in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, specifically for people experiencing health inequalities, funded by Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB.

With huge demand for its charitable dental clinics, the charity needs support more than ever before, and this is why Working Feedback has partnered with Dentaid. Since Working Feedback began supporting Dentaid The Dental Charity in February 2024, the charity has conducted 162 clinics and supported 1403 patients out of dental pain, in less than five months. Working Feedback is proud to be the sole patient review feedback provider on this project, affording Dentaid’s patients an opportunity to present valuable feedback on their treatment and ensuring Dentaid can collate significant data to legitimise and expand this project.

Patients including families experiencing poverty, people at risk of homelessness, children, and new and expectant mothers in areas at highest risk of poor dental health are able to make appointments to see the dentist on a mobile dental unit. Emergency appointments are also available for eligible patients who are suffering acute pain and have no other access to dental care. Dentaid’s mobile dental units can be seen parking outside community centres, public buildings and sports facilities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. As part of Dentaid’s continued growth, the charity has recently launched its ninth charity dental unit, with plans to launch a further two mobile dental units later in 2024. The charity also operates mobile dental clinics across the UK, from the Channel Islands to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Skye. Dentaid works closely with other charities, supporting their clients to become dentally stable. Relying on volunteer dentists and dental nurses, many of these clinics are funded through the fundraising efforts of the charity fundraising team and its many supporters.
